Having been in the hairdressing industry for over 30 years, Baz has been around the block, literally.
Stepping foot into the first salon and training academy back in the early 90’s, I found that feeling we all search for, that my future had finally arrived.
I believe there are 3 paths in this industry can take you:
1. You become successful stylist and enjoy great career
2. You open your own salon, or become high profile, possibly even celebrity status
3. You take your trade and travel.
I was 3.
Wanderlust has always had a profound effect on me, the longing for the spirt of adventure is relentless,
which put a wonderful spin on hairdressing for me. Working in locations such as Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, including down under for Aveda Australia.
I have had many teachers, mentors, and been a part of some awesome teams along the way, It was due to these teams that it took us all the way to the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Finals, 5 times over. I am grateful to you all, my skills are shaped around many.
My hairdressing is traditional, as well as my barbering. Admittedly all hairdressers have their strengths and weaknesses, I will not do anything I don’t feel I can’t master.
My promise to you is this, If for some reason I am in high demand, I will happily point you in the right direction of an idividual/company I know suits you best. I have been in this industry long enough to have been associated with an abundance of varied skilled stylists.

Over the years you find what works for you, you know what, and you know want you don’t want.
I now have a great opportunity to sculpt and package an experience just for you, the way I’d like it.
The environment I wish to create is more peaceful, personal, and easy going. For some they like the vibes of a bustling salon, and I totally respect that. However, with me get something a little different, a bit more ‘Zen’
When you come to visit it will be just you and I.
So, if you have work you wish to catch up on while your colour is processing, feel free to bring your laptop and utilise this free time, maybe kick back and watch a movie, or simply get lost in your phone.
Alternatively, you can just sit there and escape from the world outside, watch the crazy squirrels which frequent the studio and enjoy a beverage of choice.
